Massage Envy SpaIn what seems to be a weekly occurrence for the Massage Envy franchise, yet another arrest was made involving a sexual assault on a customer by a “certified therapist hired after a thorough background check.” This time, a Henrico County Massage Envy employee – Daeshawn Bullard – was arrested for Forcible Object Sexual Penetration which occurred during a massage on a female customer. You can find a full account of the assault here.

Although Massage Envy issued a statement that they “take these allegations very seriously”, it takes more than strong statements immediately following an arrest of an employee to change long standing policies that foster a nationwide culture. The attorneys at LUONGO BELLWOAR LLP are members of the National Crime Victims Bar Association and are currently litigating cases against Massage Envy for sexually assaulting customers in several states.
